As a Joomla Developer at Mayavian, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Joomla-based websites and applications. Your expertise in Joomla development will contribute to the successful delivery of projects, meeting client requirements and exceeding their expectations.

What you will do

• Develop and customize Joomla websites and applications based on client specifications and project requirements.
• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement Joomla templates, extensions, and plugins.
• Perform Joomla theme integration, module development, and third-party integrations as needed.
• Optimize website performance, ensuring scalability, responsiveness, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and debug Joomla-related issues, providing timely resolutions and enhancements.
• Stay updated with the latest Joomla trends and best practices, applying them to improve development processes and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Joomla Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing Joomla projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Joomla CMS, including custom theme development, module development, and extension/plugin configuration.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL for Joomla development.
• Familiarity with Joomla MVC architecture, version control systems, and responsive design principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze requirements and develop innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and liaise with clients.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications or courses in Joomla development would be a plus.
